String tricks are just like rope tricks (only smaller!) Here is a good one.

You roll a bit of string into a ball in your fingers. The thread goes into your mouth and you swallow it.

You look like you are in pain (what the heck, you just ate string!). You bare your stomach and actually pull the string out of your skin.

Okay, to perform this trick, you need to pieces of thread of the same color. You also need some "new skin" latex paint for covering cuts and scrapes or something just like that. (N.B. You can get that paint at a pharmacy).

And here's how you actually do it.

Start by painting a square on your stomach with that special paint. It should be about two inches square. After it has dried, you can carefully pull it away from your skin; it then forms a pocket.

Roll one of the pieces of string into a loose ball, and place it inside the little pocket of the fake skin paint. Be sure to leave just a little bit hanging out of the pocket.

Take a little makeup and blend the latex paint pocket into the color of your skin so that it disappears.

Now you are ready. Take the other piece of string and roll it up into a ball. Put it in your mouth and put it under your tongue. Then pretend to swallow.

Open your mouth to show it empty and your hands too.

Now act like you are in pain. Open your shirt and take hold of the little string poking out. Pull it out slowly and make it seem like it really hurts.

Pixel Color Depth or Bits per Pixel in Digital Photos

Digital photos are built of many pixels. Each pixel has a unique value which represents its color. When you are looking at a digital photo your eyes and brain merge these pixels into one continuous digital photo. Each pixel has a color value that is one out of a finite number of possible colors - this number is known as color depth.

Each pixel has a color value that is one out of a palette of unique colors. The number of such unique potential colors is known as color depth. Color depth is also known as bit depth or bits per pixel since a certain number of bits are used to represent a color and there is a direct correlation between the number of such bits and the number of possible unique colors. For example if a pixel color is represented by one bit - one bit per pixel or a bit depth of 1 - the pixel can have only two unique values or two unique colors - usually these colors will be black or white.

Color depth is important in two domains: the graphical input or source and the output device on which this source is displayed. Each digital photo source or other graphics sources are displayed on output devices such as computer screens and printed paper. Each source has a color depth. For example a digital photo can have a color depth of 16 bits. The source color depth depends on how it was created for example the color depth of the camera sensor used to shoot a digital photo. This color depth is independent of the output device used to display the digital photo. Each output device has a maximum color depth that it supports and can also be set to lower color depth (usually to save resources such as memory). So your dog can associate the word 'outside' to the noise of the bell. After doing so, open your door and lead him outside.

Repeat the procedure every time you take him out of the house. When you see your dog sniff around, looking like he wants to step out, take him towards the doorway, make him touch the bell using his nose, say the word "outside" upon which you can then lead him out.

Eventually, your canine can know that he needs to tinkle the bell once he is needed to go out to excrete.

Always pay attention to the sound of the bell. If he sounds the bells and your attention is not there you will soon see the dog obedience problems appearing. Your dog will excrete inside the house and the lessons learnt on your dog training courses will have to be started all over again. This will be confusing to the dog, so always pay attention. Do not forget to make the dog ring the bells whenever he requires to step outside.

This training needs to be consistent so everyone in the home should follow the established regulation of letting the dog out. The above example is just a small taster of the powerful combination when you engage your pet by combining the correct dog training tools with the correct dog training courses available. Evidence of railings made from wrought iron can be found as back as 17th century. During that time, the concept of working on metals had justed started and the railings made from iron were treated as act of art.

It is a difficult task to weld railings which have been made from wrought iron and despite the fact that when railings have been welded, and a pipe after welding has chances of breaking again and can result in a dangerous mishap. Hence, ensure that you do not weld the broken pipes.

However, you can repair the cracked pipe by putting supports inside the broken pipe, i.e. by inserting a turned wooden pole or a steel pipe of internal diameter of pipe. The pipe needs to be unfastened out of the railings and carried to a DIY store and then the necessary repairs done like putting supports inside. The ends can then be fixed with glue or metal cement.

If the inner lining of pipe of wrought iron is uneven, you can just twist the wooden pole a little bit more to fit it inside the pipe with no force or without the use of a hammer on the wooden portion. If force is applied, the pipe made of wrought iron will be useless and will not be in a position to be repaired.

Understand that broken wrought iron railings become strong by inserting a wooden pole or steel pipe inside it. The glue is merely used to give it a outer structure and not making it strong. If there are more than two pieces in the wrought iron railing, one needs to carefully fit these before applying glue or riveting. Just ensure that all the pieces get joined together and the wooden pole or internal pipe is not noticeable from outside.

If the base of railings has developed cracks or the eyelet of railing pipe requires repairs, stich welding must be done to repair it. There are many companies who specialize in this kind of repair and sometimes provide guarantee as well. The chances of eyelets or base of railings cracking are not very frequent and if these get cracked, it is advisable to leave them in the hands of the experts as this requires expertise. If you attempt yourself to do it in a DIY way, chances are that you will fail.

Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole - A Bit of Know How

Let's hear a bit of the early life of the very famous Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. This famous personality was born in Honolulu at The Kuakini Hospital. He was the son of aka Keale (Evangeline Leinani Kamakawiwo'ole) and aka Tiny (Henry Kalei'aloha Naniwa). Israel Kamakawiwo'ole spent the first ten years of his lifetime in O'ahu, the Palolo Valley. Then the entire family of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole moved onto Makaha.

Young Israel Kamakawiwo'ole was enclosed by music, Moe Keale his uncle was, a renowned performer, and his blood relations worked at a bar called the Waikiki bar where a lot of the celebrities of Hawaiian music put up their show.

At the age of seven, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole learned to perform on the ukelele after listening and watching to his uncle, his older brother and last but not the least his mother. His performed for the first time publicly when he was of the age of eleven when his older brother named Skippy, and he, were called up to the theater by pop groups which played frequently for visitors at their parents' place of work.

Together with Skippy his brother, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole started his foremost band, the Ni'ihau- Makaha Sons; other members were Sam Gray, Louis Moon Kauakahi and Jerome Koko. The Makaha Sons-Ni'ihau released five albums; of which the first one was "No Kristo" and it was recorded in the year 1976, the death of Skippy was from a heart attack in the year 1982, this was the incident that affected Israel deeply, yet The band stayed together, and turned out to be one of the most admired bands all over Hawaii, there were a lot of albums some of them were like in 1984 (Puana Hou Me Ke Aloha) and in 1986 (Ho'ola).

Well talking about the solo career of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Israel made up his mind to start recording on his own in the year 1990. His foremost record, became the most admired Hawaiian album which was Ka 'Ano'i released I the year 1990, then there was no looking back with Facing Future the second solo album, this album was released in the year 1993, and E Ala E in the year 1995 which however featured a duo with Skippy (making the use of extraordinary effects of the studio). In the year 1996 he then released his album called the N Dis Life this as usual went on to sell superbly.

Speaking of the death of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, throughout his end days, he suffered from fatness; there was a moment when he was around 350 kg (769 pounds). He died of respiratory and weight-related illness on in the year 1997 on June 26th.

A Bit About Horse Bits

The bit is your communication link to your horse, along with the reins, pressure from your legs and body position. Depending on your style of riding and your experience level as well as the condition of your horse's mouth, different bits will be more appropriate than others. Generally most horses that have not been mistreated will have what is called a "soft mouth" which means that their mouth has not be injured by misuse of a bit or cruel treatment by an uncaring rider. Horses that have been misused by cruel and excessive use of a bit are known as "hard mouthed" and require specialized combinations of bits to control the horse.

Thankfully there are very few horses that have been mistreated and most horses have a soft mouth. The most commonly recommended type of bit will both ensure that the rider has control as well as provide protection to the horse's mouth. Getting the right sized bit is essential in making the bit comfortable for the horse and prevent pinching the sensitive skin at the side of the mouth. In general most light horse breeds will use a five inch bit, which is the measurement across the bit. Some horses will have a wider or narrower mouth, so a good rider will always measure across the horse's mouth to the outside of the lips, then add an additional ½ inch. If you start with a five inch bit you can then see if you need to go wider or narrower, or you can try a variety of bits and measure which one is the best fit. Keep in mind that the bit should have ¼ of an inch on either side of the outside of the horse's mouth to fit properly. A string can be used and measured if you don't want to have to try an assortment of bit sizes. Just side the string across the horse's tongue in the place the bit would normally rest and measure out ¼ inch on either side to get the final bit size.

English and western bits are different, as are bits for racing, dressage and other types of specialty events. The most common bit in both English and western styles of riding is the snaffle bit, which is also the most gentle on the horse's mouth. A snaffle bit is two bars that connect in the middle, with the western snaffle also known as the snaffle curb since it will have two additional "curb" pieces on either side. Snaffle bits are great for novice riders as even if the rider pulls harder than necessary on the bit the horse's mouth will not be injured. Horses that have hard mouths may need additional types of bits such as full curbs, rollers, Kimberwick and Pelham bits, depending on the style of riding. Since these bits can and will cause damage to the horse if used incorrectly, they are not recommended for riders without significant experience.

Always clean your bit after each ride to prevent the build up of debris, goop and slobber on the bit. It is a good idea to have a spare bit around that can be buckled into the headstall of the bridle and used while the other bit is being thoroughly cleaned. Soaking the bit in clear, warm water for a hour will typically soften any dried on material which can then be removed with a stiff bristle brush and a good scrubbing.

Having climbed on board the mobile revolution with the purchase of the awesome Google Nexus S mobile phone, one thing which has hit me right between the eyes is just how hard it is to browse websites and make e-commerce transactions through a mobile phone.

Try buying a book on Amazon through your mobile browser: I did, and by the time I'd un-pinched my fingers across the screen, slid the screen sideways and downwards, clicked on the web form, logged in, completed my purchase and pressed "Purchase" I felt like I'd run half a marathon!

Then I decided to download the Amazon App from the Android market and I completed my next purchase through their app. The difference was obvious and immediate: the user experiences as different as taste testing Galaxy Caramel against Morrison's cooking chocolate...

So I've been pondering if the website is dead? RIP! Are Apps the future? Maybe.... But there are many thousands of small and mid sized companies whose website has never seen the inside of a mobile browser: Do they have to "ditch everything and start again" by developing iPhone apps and Android apps? Or is there a less painful evolutionary way ahead?

Developing a "mobile site" is a half way house which is going to be perfectly satisfactory for many small and medium sized businesses. I've just implemented a mobile site on my website, and although the outcome isn't perfect it's a good start to thinking about how my business is going to exist in a mobile world.

The worldwide community that is Drupal never ceases to impress; I've been using their Content Management System for a couple of years now and whenever I've had a website challenge you can be sure that "Drupal has a module for that..."

I chose to implement Drupal Mobile Tools and in half a day, Voila!, my website now detects whether the visitor is coming in through a mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android or BlackBerry) or mobile browser (Opera Mini), and redirects them to a mobile theme which strips out all the fluffy design, banners and optional goodies (Twitter, Online Chat etc) and presents the visitor clearly with the main content of each page. Simple!

So what have I learnt so far? And what are my observations:

1. That a website already built in a content management system like Drupal is a great platform on which to add mobile functionality - it's certainly a lot easier and less time consuming than if I was starting from a raw HTML site.

2. That in HTML terms, I realised that I had to to separate the "content" from the "presentation," i.e. the same content is being displayed through both the main site and through the mobile site, but the presentation of that content is very different, i.e. take a look at BBC News through their main site and then their mobile site; same news - but completely different presentation.

3. That Drupal Mobile Tools works fine (if not a bit tricky to learn), but I had to experiment with 3 or 4 different mobile themes before settling on using the Drupal.mobi theme, the main reason being that it supports "Content" blocks, so that I could control which blocks are displayed on which page (i.e. back to separating "Presentation" from "Content").

So "Thank You" Drupal mobile tools and "Hello" mobile world; next on my "To Do" list is to include HTML5 goodies such as "microformats" which will hopefully enable the visitor to add contact details from my website directly into their mobile phone contacts.

1. 3.3V/5V 32-Bit PCI Slot -PCI remains an accepted standard despite several newer revisions. A regular PCI uses five volts of power. You can differentiate it from the rare 3.3-volt type by the position of the notch in the slot. If the notch is toward the edge of the motherboard, the slot is 5 volts. If the notch is toward the center of the motherboard, it's 3.3 volts. The differing voltages correlate to different notches on the device card.

2. 3.3/5V 64-Bit PCI Slot -An extended connector can allow the device bus to double its speed of data transfer. 3.3V/5V 64 bit slot is longer to accommodate the additional connectors required.

3. PCI-X - PCI-X is a double-wide PCI device slot and runs at 4x the speed. It enhanced the 32-bit PCI Local Bus for higher bandwidth demands for servers. It has itself been replaced in modern designs by PCI Express.

4. PCIe PCI Express is used in consumer, server, and industrial applications, as a motherboard-level interconnect (to link motherboard-mounted peripherals) and as an expansion card interface for add-in boards. PCIe is based on point-to-point serial links, rather than a shared parallel bus architecture, like standard PCI. PCIe x1, PCIe x4, PCIe x16 are different slot sizes in the PCIe standard.

Whether you need 32-bit PCI Slots or one of the other useful types, the standard is here to stay. They are becoming increasingly hard to find in new systems and require specific engineering to meet your device needs.

The Bunt - A Little Bit Goes A Long Way

A timely bunt can be one of the most effective weapons in baseball. The art of bunting has not been mastered by too many. If a bunt is placed in exactly the right spot it cannot be defended easily, if at all. Although it seems like something simple compared to a full swing at the ball, bunting requires a lot of practice to perfect and proves very difficult without the proper techniques.

There are several different types and reasons for bunts. A player can bunt to simply move a runner over or it can be done to get a base-hit. When someone "drag" bunts they are usually trying to get on-base so they will show bunt at the last second to avoid tipping off the infielders of their intent. A "slap" bunt is basically the same thing because you make contact at the last second squaring and bunting all in one motion. When attempting to advance a runner it is suggested to square up earlier because you are more likely to get the bunt down and it's that much more important to execute the bunt properly, especially if a runner is stealing. In some cases you can square up very early to draw an infielder in on a steal play. Sometimes very good base-hitters will show bunt then draw it back at the last moment and try to hit the ball hard at an infielder that has been drawn in by the fake bunt, also sometimes refered to as a "slap" bunt.

The ideal direction of the bunt depends on the situation, such as how the infielders are set up, runners on base, and how many outs. There should never be a bunt back to the pitcher. Fundamentally, you want to have the bat square to the pitcher and as the ball approaches you either push a little bit or pull a little bit with your bottom hand to steer the ball in a desired direction. Your top hand should slide up just below the barrel with the bat resting on your fist and your thumb behind it giving support. Under no circumstances do you wrap your hand around the baseball bat or put it on the barrel. The bat head should remain slightly up to prevent "popping" the ball up. You want to be slightly hunched over and bent at the knees. The only adjustment to get to a higher or lower pitch will be made at the knees.

In the preparing of dinners there are several types of condiments that we use. Ketchup on eggs, for instance, is known as a favorite for some people. With 3.15" of travel, the plunge depth is among the best in the industry. There is also a micro-adjustment knob to fine tune the plunge depth in increments of 1/256"! The four position depth stop turret provides pre-configurable plunge depths including a 5/64" finishing pass setting.

Looking for power and stability? The OF2200 router features a triple bearing design which dampens spindle and bit deflection. With bearings at the top, middle and bottom, the spindle is less likely to wobble. This is particularly important considering the sheer power (2200 Watts!) and the centrifugal forces exerted with spinning large bits at speeds up to 22,000 RPM. One of my favorite features is the ratcheting collet. Press the spindle locking lever to disengage spindle movement, then use a single wrench to ratchet off the unwanted collet.

A router table is only as good as the bits that you use. The router table doesn't really do anything, it's the bit itself which will be cutting into your wood and creating some of the most beautiful designs which we have come to love. Router tables are very important tools which will be found in anybody's woodworking studio. Not only this, but they are quickly becoming popular for people to have in their own garage. Many people are interested to add this decoration to their own homes, and so are investing in the routers to enable them to do this.

You might think that it is very difficult to use a router to create beautiful designs, however it's not that bad. Router saws do all of the hard work for you. All you need to do is pass the piece of wood through the saw. Almost everyone can do that, and so it should be very easy!

If you don't know what to do then you can find router table plans on the internet. These enable you to create your own bits. Homemade router tables are just as good as shop brought ones. You can find these router plans for free if you search for long enough.

Bits are what make the beautiful designs possible. All of the designs you want to create are dictated by the bit itself. You can get many different types of bits which make different designs. There are edging bits which create beveling, and even straight bits which cut straight notches. You can also find dovetail bits which are very useful to create high quality draws. Other bits can be used for a number of different purposes.

You can find specialty router bits which can be used for many different projects. For example the caps on fence posts are made by using a stile bit. You can get very specialist bits which can make many more cuts in each pass. You can even get miniature bits to create beautiful dolls houses.

Router table saws are about the same size as a normal table saw, and so you won't need that much space. However if you don't have much space available then you can consider one of the many bench top models which are available. It is important to align the height of your bench, if this is not correct then it is possible to use adjusters to change this.

What Your Router Table Plans Will Include

These router table plans should show you what the bit will produce when cutting wood. Bear in mind that this cut it just what the basic cut will produce, with a bit of imagination and craft then you will be able to create some wonderful designs. It is possible to adjust the angle of the bit to create unique looks.
