The Irwin Tools 4935569 drilling and fastener drive 56-piece kit includes 5 Speedbor BlueGroove wood boring bits, 8 black-oxide metal twist drill bits, 42 fastener drive insert bits, and a magnetic screw guide bit holder. This kit will allow most contractors and DIYers to take care of most common fastening and drilling applications. The Speedbor set includes 3/8-inch, 1/2-inch, 5/8-inch, 3/4-inch, and 1-inch diameter bits that feature Irwin’s patented BlueGroove cutting edge, which makes for faster chip removal. The Speedbor bits are 4 times faster than traditional spade bits and have double-cutting spurs that scribe out the outside of the hole, reducing breakout. The quick-change shanks fit all standard 1/4-inch quick change chucks. The twist drill set includes 8 black-oxide bits from 1/16-inch to 1/4-inch. The black-oxide finish provides corrosion resistance and the heavy-duty web construction gives the bit strength and durability. The bits feature a 135-degree split point that begins drilling immediately, minimizing bit “walk”. These bits are ideal for drilling through most materials including metal, wood, and plastic.
